BMP 860 Big Bore Kit for 2011-Up 800 CFI
Cylinder Core Exchange Options(see drop down menu):
- Option 1: Purchase Outright - No core cylinder or exhaust valves are required to be sent in - Raises kit price by $1200
- Option 2: Exchange Parts, MUST send your cylinder and exhaust valves within 14 business days. As soon as you do, the $1200 charge will be refunded. Exchange parts not received in that amount of time will have no credit applied, and the customer will have to pay for return shipping.
- Option 3: Exchange Parts - Your order will be pulled on our shelf waiting for your exchange cylinder & exhaust valves to arrive. Once they arrive, we will normally ship the kit within a few business days. No core charge will be applied since we will have your cylinder prior to shipping the big bore cylinder.
BMP’s big bore kits are legendary and we are proud to offer the Polaris 800 owners a powerful package. For 2011 and newer Polaris 800 models, we took our already popular 860 big bore kit and made it even better! We improved this big bore kit by utilizing our “Durability Kit” style pistons with a longer piston skirt - not using a base spacer. This extends the life of the pistons and rings because the taller pistons don’t rock as much and much less stress is applied to both the piston and the rings. The 860 kit produces 184-185 horsepower on premium pump gas. It is a very strong running motor package with a broad powerband, tons of low end torque, and killer throttle response. Send us your cylinder with the exhaust valves and we will do the following; boring, porting, nikasil plating, and modify the exhaust valves. We offer it both a low and high altitude versions so please specify when ording. Our special big bore single pipe and a power commander are required for maximum reliability and horsepower. Low altitude riders below 6000ft will also need to purchase our big bore muffler for optimum horsepower. High altitude riders will be fine with our standard mufflers, or the stock one. V-Force reeds are also a good option adding 2-3 HP peak and great low end power. Requires cylinders & exhaust valves to be sent in for exchange.
Due to varying cylinders from year to year, BMP only has exchange cylinders for 2013-Up models. 2011 & 2012 model owners would have the work done to their own cylinder resulting in slightly slower turnaround time.

Core parts must be in good, useable condition. Parts not in useable condition will not be credited and the customer will be responsible for return shipping.
We recommend turning your oil pump up 3 full turns, and even pre-mixing oil at 100:1 for this kit. Here is a how to on adjusting the oil pump.
